Shibian Communication May 16, 2025, 13:45, Hunan On May 12th at noon, a heartbreaking train accident occurred on the Jiaoliu railway bridge in Guanyan Rock Village, Yongding District, Zhangjiajie, Hunan, resulting in the unfortunate death of a nearly sixty-year-old villager. According to local villagers, train accidents have occurred frequently along this section of the railway over the years. Previously, on April 6th, tragedy struck again in Songjiawan Village, Yongding District, where the Jiaoliu railway lies — a 15-year-old disabled left-behind girl, Song Yuying, had her life cruelly taken by a speeding train. Over the 47 years since the Jiaoliu railway cut through the village, at least 17 lives have been lost to train accidents. Built during the ‘Third-Line Construction
