Survival crisis and transformation opportunity amid clinic closure wave
Since 2025, China’s private hospitals “clinic closure wave” has been intensifying. Due to restrictions on medical insurance payments and accumulated accounts receivable leading to cash flow disruption, the Dongxin Sixth Hospital of Fuzhou, Jiangxi was forced to suspend inpatient services.
