Wachtberg Forum of Fraunhofer FHR: Radar in Focus for Security and Defense

Under the motto “Radar for Security and Defense in the dimensions of Sea, Land, Air, and Space,” the Fraunhofer Institute for High Frequency Physics and Radar Techniques (FHR) successfully presented its latest developments and technologies at this year’s Wachtberg Forum. A highlight of the event was the keynote by Major General Michael Traut, Commander of the German Armed Forces Space Command. He emphasized the crucial role of radar technology for space situation awareness: “Space is a strategic arena where communication and operations take place. It is our mission to confidently address these opportunities and threats, and we are working closely with Fraunhofer FHR to achieve this.”
