Traditional radar systems could only provide object lists – basic data points without the detail needed for advanced perception or easy sensor fusion with cameras and lidar.But high-channel-count radar changes exactly that. Arbe’s system generates detailed images to deduce clear object boundaries. It can now detect static environments like trees, sidewalks, or lost cargo at long range with radar – something that traditional radars struggle with.The result is data detailed enough and similar enough in structure and granularity for sensor fusion, better environmental awareness, and perception capabilities that traditional radar simply couldn’t deliver.
