Modern safety performance relies on advanced radar sensing, and Gapwaves’ antenna technology is integrated in the the award winning Mercedes-Benz CLA, supporting the systems behind these winning results. The new Mercedes‑Benz CLA with EQ Technology was launched last year, and it is the first model in Mercedes‑Benz’s new, innovative family of electric vehicles. HELLA’s new 77 GHz radar sensor is integrated into the new CLA cars. They have a gapwaveguide antenna developed by Gapwaves, and is in production since 2024 using Gapwaves technology.
