Fraunhofer FHR at the XPONENTIAL in DüsseldorfAt the trade fair hashtag#XPONENTIAL in Düsseldorf, Sabine Gütgemann and Josh Perske, both researchers from our institute, presented current work on the further development of embedded radar systems in the InnovationArea of the hashtag#Projektträger Jülich. Mona Neubaur, Minister in the Ministry for Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection, and Energy of the State of NRW, as well as State Secretary Paul Höller, also inquired about the latest developments in radar technology and its significance for the innovation and industrial location of North Rhine-Westphalia during their tour of the exhibition. A particular focus of interest was a collaborative work of the consortium partners IMST GmbH, IMS Messsysteme GmbH, Ruhr University Bochum, BO-I-T – Bochumer Institut für Technologie, and Fraunhofer FHR in the RaDime project, in which a compact, digitally enhanced radar sensor platform is being developed.
