LinkedIn Post Text: Earlier this month, one of our distributors, Aerogenix, represented Ainstein at FIDAE – FERIA INTERNACIONAL DEL AIRE Y DEL ESPACIO 2026, held in Santiago, Chile.What stood out most from this year’s show is how quickly UAV and eVTOL adoption is accelerating across Latin America, and how that growth is being shaped by real operational constraints in terrain, weather, and regulation.One clear takeaway: sensing performance is becoming a gating factor. In mountainous and low-visibility environments, radar altimetry continues to demonstrate reliable performance where optical-based systems like LiDAR can struggle, particularly in dust, fog, and rapidly changing elevation profiles.Equally important is what happens beyond the technology itself. Scaling UAV operations in the region is now heavily dependent on distribution strength, certification alignment, and integration partners who can move from demonstration to deployment.
