LinkedIn Post Text: 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 We’re excited to share that the new paper from FAU – Institute of Microwaves and Photonics (LHFT) and fiveD will be published at the European Microwave Week 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 in Utrecht. The paper “𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘔𝘪𝘤𝘳𝘰-𝘋𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘳 𝘙𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘳 𝘚𝘪𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘺𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘝𝘶𝘭𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘙𝘰𝘢𝘥 𝘜𝘴𝘦𝘳 𝘊𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯” was authored by Oliver Sura, Peter Mergenthaler, Christoph Kammel, Eva Dorschky, Marcel Hoffmann, and Martin Vossiek and will be presented in the session EuRAD16 at 8:50 on Friday, September 26th. The study demonstrates how radar simulations can fully capture the fine micro-Doppler signatures of cyclists — a key step toward better detection and classification of vulnerable road users, enabling safer mobility.We’re proud that our 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗗 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲 supported this work, enabling highly realistic radar simulations with human digital twins.
