We collaborated with South Korean partner, Wave Tech, to conceive a millimetre-wave radar system adept at swiftly and reliably detecting even small debris, such as nuts and bolts, from several hundred metres away. Our unique solution features a system for fixed installation at busy commercial airports, as well as a mobile system for rapid vehicle-mounted checking. Avoiding effects of human error and fatigue through automation, these systems elevate the precision of FOD detection. The outcome?
