LinkedIn Post Text: First smartmicro installation in Laval, QuebecCongratulations to the Electromega Ltée/Ltd Team, who in November achieved the first installation of smartmicro’s TRUGRD traffic sensors in the city of Laval, Quebec! Laval, the third-largest city in Quebec, spans 6,010 square kilometers, hosting a population of 440,000 citizens. Eight units of smartmicro sensors were installed at two busy intersections at Route 335 & Boul Saint-Saens to enhance the safety of all.The goal of this installation was to enable accurate bike detection. The partners are delighted with the results of this deployment due to the high performance and seamless integration.This project was done in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport.
