LinkedIn Post Text: To kickstart CES 2025, we are excited to announce the addition of the Provizio MIMSO Software Defined Antenna as a reference design on the Texas Instruments website! This innovative solution combines the powerful TI AWR2944 radar transceiver SoC with the Provizio MIMSO Active Antenna, delivering unparalleled performance in imaging radar technology. The unique design achieves 20x higher resolution performance from a single chip by utilising a combination of proprietary hardware and software innovations. On the hardware side, high speed switching technology on the transmit path, coupled with low noise amplification on the receive path, increases the channel count while reducing the noise floor. On the software side, DSP multiplexing techniques enable the extension of the single transceiver SoC to 48 virtual receiver channels, delivering significantly enhanced resolution, extended range and high density 3D imaging point clouds. This reference design showcases the versatility of Provizio Software Defined Antenna technology, enabled by the TI AWR2944 radar transceiver SoC, to deliver cost effective, compact and scalable imaging radar solutions for automotive ADAS and autonomy applications. The design is on display at CES 2025 with Provizio hosting live vehicle demonstrations, along with the reference design being available to view at TI’s booth in the Las Vegas Convention Center in North Hall, N116.For more detail on our reference design, visit the Texas Instruments website: https://buff.ly/3Pvgf7e.
