We help bringing #AutonomousDriving to the next level. As part of the funded project #nxtAIM we leverage AI to enable fully automated driving (level 4) and autonomous driving (level 5) – while at the same time fulfilling the high safety requirements of the German automotive industry. “We see enormous potential in the generation of data for training and validation for radar-based environment detection through the utilization of generative AI,” explain Ernst Warsitz, Director Radar Technology & Perception and Claas Tebrügge, Head of the Research Institute for Automotive Electronics (E-LAB) at FORVIA HELLA. This light-house project clearly underlines the importance of public funding, which enables a project of such a size and scope with that many relevant partners, contributing to maintaining Germany as a key player in developing automated driving technologies. The large-scale project was now presented to the public, together with Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action
