No false detections inside the monitored area: PIRs and cameras get false triggers from changes in outside temperature, lighting, shadows, tree branches moving in the wind, snow, rain, fog, and static objects with moving parts like ACs. RIOT100 is unaffected by lighting, temperature, or environmental conditions and can filter out stationary objects with moving components. No false detections outside the monitored area: It is impossible to precisely limit the PIR or camera detection range. These sensors will get false triggers from events outside the monitored area, like cars or passers-by. With RIOT100, all presence and movement outside the designated monitored area will be ignored.
