Tactical applications in view: millimeter-wave UAV SAR at the hashtag#DWT-Conference. At the joint booth of the Fraunhofer Society, we are presenting a range of new technologies and research results from radar and sensor research at the current conference ‘Applied Research for Defense and Security in Germany.’ In the video, our colleague Jennifer Deppe gives a short and at the same time well-founded insight into one of the exhibits: TAUSAR 1 – a research project in which a high-resolution millimeter-wave SAR sensor is integrated into an eVTOL drone platform. The goal is to enable flexible airborne radar reconnaissance from greater altitudes – particularly for tactical deployment scenarios. Take a look and let our expert explain the system to you directly. In addition to this exhibit, we are showcasing many other current developments of Fraunhofer FHR in Bonn – from the latest radar technologies to innovative sensor systems. We look forward to exchanging ideas with you on site! All pres
